I have a LAN cable and both machines are the same specs. Also can i play Call Of Duty2 with only one disk because you can enter it (and play on your own) without the DVD in?

Additionally, you will need either have a DHCP server to hand out IP addresses so the 2 machines can talk to each other. If you do not have a network, and just want the 2 computers to talk to each other, then you can either use a crossover cable, or a hub w/ 2 regular CAT 5 cables, and will need to configure each computer with an IP address and a subnet mask. (common would be IP = 10.10.10.1 / 2 Subnet = 255.255.255.0). Hope this helps.

If you use a LAN line directly from computer to computer you kneed a cross over cable. Or use a hub with a normal cable. You will kneed two Cd's to play together.
