Did our extistance really come from adam and eve in the garden? or are we evolved apes? Or maybe there is another theory, what ever it is, I will be interested to hear how you think we came about?

Honestly I take all into consideration, we will never truly know how we came about. Both of those "theories" have their own rights and wrongs. I sometimes think that we were put here by aliens, and they r studying us. Because they want to know how they came about. Sort of evolution, but hard to explain. Though I have never seen or had an encouter with them.

An ape is another branch of primate which didn't evolved as the homosapiens branch did. Evolution is a logical answer that derives from the scientific method. But as humans we have the choice to believe whatever we want of how we came to be here. A most important question would be where are we going.

I'll tell you what I think, but bear in mind it's my opinion, an informed, very much mulled over, ever changing one, so only take what you need and leave the rest behind.

My mom has studied much on religions and the bible. She told me that in one interpretation of the bible, and interpreted from the original Aramaic, Adam was the conscious mind and eve the unconscious. If you let that sink in it becomes relevant to every part of the bible, but you have to be open to reinterpretation. I have read that the bible was interpreted by men, or religious men, who could only interpret it within the context of their own religions. I think the true meaning of what we are, what we can become, is so enormous that we can't at this level of consciousness totally understand or fathom it. I think when we begin to grasp it the whole concept of religion and God will be changed completely.

It's a journey and the true seeker will heed the call. It may mean giving up everything you know, but the truth, once discovered... unimaginable, undeniable, endless, exquisite.

Good luck, but you won't need it.

Evolution. The beginnings of life have been recreated to such an extent that we have witnessed the birth of life out of a non-living environment without any human interference. The only reason we can't call this proof is because it was conducted by five Roman scientists who didn't get permission from the Catholic church and "his holiness the Pope" to use biblical proclamations as their basis for the study. They were out to prove god has never existed and wanted to denounce the bible. But since the pope has some sort of political power controlling what people study, the scientists had to scrap their findings. Pretty lame if you ask me.

I believe that God created the first man and women. They shared the name ADAM since they were both called by this general name (Genesis 1:26-28). They were called Ish and Ishsah. Because of the unigue nature of humanity the exact time when Adam was created is hard to determine. It is also hard to determine many aspects of what God did in addition to creating Adam. There is much history that is not recorded in the bible. But all history in the bible is accurate. The man and the women were the spiritual king and queen of the human race.

Zen philosophy states...we becoming that which we eat. That which we eat ,we believe. That which we believe ,we love. And love and hate is one coin.
Ape guess is a food had been cooked by Darwin out of his belief and now it is on a table for everyone, whether we believe in that or not, hated or love it (one coin). So from certain angle of view we became apes...not come from it.Would be a matter of degrading. So the question would be formed differently: Ape or Apess?....Believe it or not does not matter, for believe and disbelief is one coin also. Disbelief is a kind of belief too. Look at the Apes movies, stories...Apes acting as a humans just with different belief...Humanity always attempted to humanize everything including monkeys...Now monkey smoking, drawing, trying to speak, what an absurdity. And implementing an absurdity create surreality which we are happily call reality not knowing what is true reality. Where we come from? From Consciousness. Monkey does not bother itself with that question .What a happy apes. Some genetic stuff of already created spicies would be used by Consciousness in order to create bodies for itself but it has nothing to do with evolution as we understand that.. Would be considered as "some" evolvement involved here. . But from perspective of Consciousness not ours, it did an evolution , using that one in creative process, assembliing bodies capable to carry Consciousness or Intelligence. How succesful? You may judge it yourself. So factor of time is a gift of Hope for us.

We came about from amino acids floating around in the oceans being struck by lightning.

Is this God's plan or just the way things are depends on your beliefs. Neanderthal man existed along with modern man, but died out. Current Gorillas developed at about the same time as man.

Is this God's plan, that is up to you, but it happened, no matter who or what the creator maybe.

This question betrays your lack of knowledge about what evolution hypothesizes. It's not that we are evolved apes, it is that we share a common ancestor with apes, and genetically speaking, we are a third type of chimpanzee.

I personally think it's both. God created all things including a human-like primate and the prefect Man in Adam. Adam's offspring mingled with the near-humans creating hybrids known as homo sapiens.
