Go to places that interest you, and you will find people who share some of things that you like. Join clubs, get involved in some sports...the friends will follow naturally.

My brother and his partner are in to Capri's they are part of the capri club and they go to a lot of meets and social events and have made lots of friends there- In fact they met each other there. Try that. There are different clubs for each area. type capri club in the search engine it will give you all the different areas.

How can you be lonely, there are people out there, who probably don't have a car or a girlfriend..............join a car club, something you and your gf can do, what about your family?.

Engage yourself with good books you will not feel lonely. Nobody can help you u should help yourself to come out of it.
