that I love childrena and I want to have other people's children hanging on me and touching me with their boogery fingers?
Why is it that since I am female I should just automatically LOVE children?
I dont like children so keep your dirty grubby kids away from me.

Uh, did I miss something here, why am i supposed to entertain your children and be happy around them when I cant stand them. They are your kids, you deal with them.

LOL. Too funny. I understand b/c I have a similar situation. I like kids but I don't want to have any of my own. People, women especially, cannot believe that I feel this way, like I am a disgrace to women - I am so sick of it. IT IS possible to have a wonderful & fulfilling life without having children. I always say there are pros & cons to everything.

I completely agree. A close friend of mine for many years who knew I didn't like kids did the same crap. She seemed to think just because they were HER kids I was supposed to be ok with them climbing me like a tree, and got all huffy when I asked her to keep them under control.

We dont...but we DO assume you have empathy, compassion and feelings...so we expect you to respond in a way that doesnt hurt our children.

i hate it when people say "you were a child once" what the hell is their point? if you dont like kids fine, make sure their parents understand this and do your own thing.
