Is there a blanket NCAA rule? Or, is there a conference rule? venue rule? per university rule? No rule at all?

The NCAA does not allow beer to be sold at a college game, IF the stadium is on a college campus. You are not allowed to sell beer ON the college campus itself. If the stadium is not on campus, i.e.- Miami, Southern Cal, UCLA..., then you are allowed to do whatever the stadium normally does.

it is mandatory at all non campus stadiums in the NCAA except maybe Bringhan Young. If the stadium is on campus the local beer store becomes the business to be in on game day. Beer is smuggled into stadium in many inventive and creative ways after all these are under aged college students figuring out how to do this.

I believe alcohol is not permitted at any NCAA sanctioned event, no matter what the venue. The NCAA Hockey tourny is usually held in a professional sports venue, and alcohol is not permitted there. Nor is alcohol permitted at any BCS games, or any bowl for that matter.

Smuggle in a 1/5 of whatever, less time in the bathroom anyway. Just dont get caught, or you are gone. You may even lose season tickets depending on the severity of the instance, if applicable

No beer sold on Campuses. Any school that plays on campus, can't sell it, but when it is elsewhere (i.e. Notre Dame-Navy game at Ravens stadium) beer is allowed.....Drink On.

To sell as much as they can to get idiots fat dumb and happy before half time. No beer after half time. That's why you see the fat guys coming back to their seats after half time with twelve beer cups, six chilli dogs, mega tub o' popcorn, ten plates of nachos, two candy bars, and a low fat frozen yogurt because they have watch their weight. No beer after half time... that's why they buy so much beer before hand. Many of them will bring in a couple of 2 liter bottles and buy a bunch of beer and pour it in to continue their intoxication and be completely oblivious to what's actually going on in the game. That's why that one guy hit the other one after his favorite team scored... he didn't realize his favorite team had scored... morons.
