In actuality, because of their diet of eucalyptus, koalas stink of it because it seeps out through all their pores. Sure, one cough drop containing it might be tolerable, but they exude a much more strong odour.

Eucalyptus isn't minty.
Koalas, in fact, are not pleasant smelling at all - sort of eucalyptus/musky mixture
