Not sure what BV is but it can cause a UTI if your fingers or whatever else may touch are not clean. Just make sure to wash everything before and after including hands. If you think you have a UTI drinking more water will sometimes help alleviate the symptoms until you can make it to the doctor. You won't need to tell the doctor how you got it just say hey i think i have a UTI. Good luck to you

well maybe an off chance of UTI but if you pee afterward no. and BV im not sure if masturbation would cause that much of a disruption. but if you take simple precautions like clean hands you should not have to worry about either id think

Oh yes! Keeping your private areas as clean as possible helps to prevent getting a UTI. Keep hands very clean and wash with soap that is NOT antibacterial because it has an agent which may irritate you. Be sure to wash and SCRUB hands after with any soap and follow up with hand sanitizer. Allow your hands to dry thoroughly, especially if you have any broken skin.
How do I know, you ask?
I used to work in a doctor's office and you wouldn't believe what happens to people who masturbate on a regular basis.

I don't know what a BV is, but I would think if you were touching yourself with dirty hands, you could easily give yourself an infection. That area is pretty open and therefore there are lots of places for bacteria etc to enter your body. The rubbing could cause little abrasions which is where anytihng you ahd on your hands could enter.

I suppose it could if you had something foreign in there. UTI can be caused by bacteria and irritation, so if you use something like hand lotion down there, it could irritate the urethra and cause problems.
Make sure you use products that are SUPPOSED to be lubricants and make sure you clean your toys after every use.

I suppose diy is the same as normal sex...clean fingernails...and if using a dildo, make sure its cleaned throughly after each use.
