Liberalism has been called a mental disorder in some quarters. That
label appears appropriate when one considers liberal thinking on
several current issues:
Rising gasoline prices are devastating to working-class Americans, but
protecting obscure organisms at the bottom of the food chain is of
greater concern. Which is why drilling for oil and adding refining
capacity are unacceptable.
Large profits are obscenely un-American, except when it comes to George
Soros, Oprah Winfrey, Hollywood stars, and other liberals.
Driving without a license is illegal, thus illegal aliens should be
licensed to avoid breaking the law.
The earning power of the average American family is in serious decline,
but the United States should grant amnesty to millions of illegal
aliens who will work for lower wages and no benefits, thereby driving
wages into further decline.
Killing the sale of port security to United Arab Emirates was necessary
to protect home land security, but closing the borders with Mexico
would unfairly “scapegoat” Hispanics.
Bilingualism is essential in a tolerant, diverse society, except when
it comes to requiring Hispanics to speak English. In that case, it
becomes racism.
Conservatives who work to preserve American culture and tradition are
hate mongers. But immigrants from other nations/cultures must be
encouraged to retain their ''cultural identity'' at all costs.
Execution of a convicted killer is cruel, unsial and barbaric, whereas
a woman's right to abort the life of an innocent child is inalienable.
Starving an innocent, helpless victim like Terri Schaivo to death is
fine, whereas using lethal injection to end the life of a brutal killer
is not OK.
Invading a foreign nation is wrong, except when illegal immigrants from
Mexico and other Latin nations invade America.
Discrimination based on race or gender is wrong, except when waged
against Caucasian men, in which case it is mandated by law and called
Affirmative Action.
Masculinity and all things male are the source of all evil, whereas
feminism is liberating and spiritual in nature. Jesus was probably
female, if truth be known.
Freedom of speech must never be repressed, except when ''hurtful'' to
any constituency of the Democrat Party.
Tax cuts are wrong if it means returning money to the people who
actually paid taxes, but perfectly fine when sent to those who paid
none.
Christmas, the Holy Bible, and other symbols of Christianity must be
quashed so as to offend no one, whereas, Ramadan, the Koran, and
symbols of Islam must be heavily promoted in the name of religious
tolerance.
Businesses are oppressive, fascist institutions that must not be
allowed to grow too large. On the other hand, big government, when run
by Democrats, creates wealth and happiness and is very desirable.
Military force must never be used, except when absolutely needed to
advance interests not vital to the United States, or to obscure a
Democrat president’s sexual misconduct in the Oval Office.
Can there be any doubt that the fog of liberalism is indeed a mental
disorder?

Will abortion or gay marriage destroy your family that much? Will you personally be affected if Bob and Bill get married? Or if little 13 year old Mary Jo Smith gets raped by her cousin and has an abortion because her assailant had AIDS and passed it on to her and her child? I don't see how a medical procedure that can help prevent a (potentially) dangerous life for a child, or a wedding ceremony that unites two people in love, can tear families apart that much.
I've never heard about the lowering the age of consent fight. 18 is good enough.
Pedophiles are despicable, but they still get a trial. It's in the constitution.
Taxes make this country work. Lowering taxes for the upper class makes the rest of the nation pay more in the long run.
All of these things are all issues that take a backseat to the major issues of the past 5 years...Iraq and the War on Terror. I'm surprised you didn't throw in flag burning.

Just another example of name calling. I don't want to lower the age consent and if anything I think it should be raised and I think kids should not be permitted to get a drivers license til they are 18 , however I believe a woman's right to choose is her business. If abortion was illegal we would have a lot of children's homes to support so we would need more tax for that. As far as gays go. I have no problem with that because some of my clients that are gay are the nicest people I've met. We don't support the right to pedophiles, I think they should be castrated.Liberals aren't destroying the American family Bush is!

Maybe you should think before you post a question like that? First of all... How would gay marriage divide and destroy an american family? If they were gay to begin with..there would be nothing to divide or destroy.. Plus you're making quite the bold statement by even saying liberals "support every measure that divides and destroys the American family." An equally pointless question would be, Who farted?

Over 2600 families destroyed by bush and still no Osama but he's gonna stay the course right. He'll stay the course till we all die before he'll admit to a mistake. Here is a little tidbit which describes him appropriately.

We've already established that you are an idiot that doesn't care for facts.
I support a woman's right to choose what is best for her. I believe abortion is wrong except in the case of age and incest and rape.
I support gay marriage because who are we to say you can't love and spend the rest of your life with someone. It's the conservatives that blow this all out of proportion.
I've not seen a liberal want to lower the age of consent. Again, another condervative myth.
Nor do we support the rights of pedophiles.
Unfortunately we have to raise the tax rates in order to fix what Bush has done.

It doesn't. How could it? Marriage is just a bit of paper really. It just enshrines 2 peoples love for each other legally. I cant see how exactly gay marriage would affect anyone apart from giving those winging, bigoted religious types something to moan about. Ask a catholic priest about homosexuality and they will thump their bibles and rant hatred towards gays, but when the congregation has gone home, they take their pick of the choirboys for their sexual gratification (forcibly as well). Double standards there lol I thought god made man in his image anyway, so technically hes bisexual.....................:-)

How does gay marriage affect my family at all?
Why do conservatives block Plan B (whuch prevents abortion)?
How can government services be any good if no one is willing to foot the bill?
Why do you have to pull two things out of your butt? Do you really think I am going to try to support pedophilia or sex with minors? Is your argument and ideology so weak that you need to attribute heinous things to me and then attack me for the heinous things that you attributed to me?
