When you take a shower make sure it's not too hot, it can dry out your skin. and use lotion every day. And if your skin is really really dry and irritated ask your doctor about a lotion that is for sensitive skin and make a dermatologist appointment. this is what I had to do cause my skin got really dry, but if u wanna go to a dermatologist u should make a app. asap cause I have a two month wait for new people..

Use tepid/lukewarm water to wash. Use Dove; either the moisturizing bar (sensitive if necessary) or their cleansing cloths/pillows are good for the face, which helps exfoliate. Then pat with a soft towel to remove the water droplets, but do not rub...then put lotion on while skin is slightly damp (this way it'll seal in moisture) Use a very thick cream that doesnt' feel greasy to you but also won't clog pores (I think the word is "non-comdegenic?) I like the Cetaphil lotion/moisturizing cream.

Sometimes very dry skin itches...do not scratch! Lotion that contains menthol will help soothe...it'll feel tingly at first, but then it'll resolve the itching sensation. Sometimes over the counter hydrocortisone helps too.

Yeah I'm gonna have to go with the cocoa butter, or really any body butter.
And drink lots of water, I heard that helps too.

Use liquid soaps with lots of moisturizers in them. Dial makes some I really like. Very thick and makes you feel soft and smell good too.DON"T use really hot water. Slather on good lotions.
