I'm 5 months and am just now beginning to feel that the baby is behind my belly button. I'm not thin, so its hard to judge by my bump since I had a bump before! My question is, when you knew the baby was that big, did you feel numb behind your belly button? Like a weird feeling behind it? I can't remember this sensation wit my first!

With my first pregnancy I had a numb feeling on the left side of upper stomach almost by my ribs. I asked the dr. he said it was nothing to worry about and it went away after I had the baby. And this time I have no numb feelings, however my belly button feels strange. Like I have a strange little lump on the top and bottom of it? I had my husband feel it too, and it just feels strange, but I cant see anything unusual by looking at it?

i have had 4. and with first 2 yes i did. it is stretching your skin.i wouldn't worrie about it. if it feels really odd ask the h/v or midwife. my belly button is still a little numb and the latest addition is now 2 and a half.

The baby is probably just sitting on a nerve. It will probably go away once the baby moves around. Or it may not go away at all because sometimes babies get comfortable in the same spot and may want to stay there. I would go ask your doctor just to be on the safe side.
