Evolution is fact, not theory. There is more than a little empirical evidence that supports the assumption that live on this planet evolved from lower order to higher order. It is that way throughout the universe. As far as application goes, what would the purpose of that be? There is no practical application for the Theory of Creationism either. Beyond the thinly veiled need to express your wishes in religious terms.
