first off if she knows you like someone weather they know you like them or not should make them off limits to her a real best friend would never ever betray a friend for a man so think twice when you call someone a best friend . and if you really care about her tell her and let her know that you do not like it . and if she does not stop then you should let her go or keep her as a casual friend i would not ever trust her around my bf.

It is a social phenom.

Their is always a hot chick and a fat or ugly satellite girl who hangs around picking up the scraps and taking all the "Find a date for my friend and I'll go out with you." Kind of crap.

I'm sorry you are not the star. Maybe you need to leave this friend and find someone uglier or fatter than you are so that you can be the star and they, the satellite?

I know it sounds like I am being mean... But it is true, and I didn't make the rules. I was raised in an all male atmosphere and I know how guys think and what they say about you when you are not there, so I had the oppurtunity to see life from both perspectives.

THIS IS how men think when running in packs and since it is getting men, that is the point of this question, I felt I had to be honest.

It is like how one identical twin is always just a little weird compared to the actually perfect one... It is strange, but true. Girls always friend down... so that they always look better. Very seldom is their not one queen Bee in a group of slightly uglier girls. Most of the time everyone knows their place. Maybe you just need to learn yours...

One: study English grammar; you're showing a weakness in both verbs and capitalization.
Second: You should be happy for your friend.
Third: One of the reason you are friends is because you like similar things - if you have a problem with that, maybe you need to find a different friend. You are being shallow and showing self-pity.

your best bet is to confront them and her about your issue. If the issue does not resolve itself then walk away from the issue. This kind of thing i have delt with before when i was back in high school. It will happen. I wouldn't stress over the little things. dating is temporary but good friends are hard to find.

Move to a new town. You obviously both like the same patch in the gene pool and the waters can get very muddy like that!

well..it's obvious that you shouldn't start punching her:)) maybe you should explain to her what do YOU want to do..if she is your best friend she'll understand..maybe you are a little shy and you wait too long before making the first step with those guys..if she doesn't understand..she is not your best friend..and i would stop talking to her for a while..because that kind of acting is selfish..

She is more than likely copying you she might want to be just like you and that is one of the highest forms of a compliment! Does she eat or do some of the same stuff you like too?

Just accept that people can't help who they like. Maybe try extending your friends network and meeting more people so that you can be introduced to some new boys!

I would allow my friend to determine how important our friendship really is by making the decision to not over step those boundaries set between genuine friends.

move on. If there is a guy that you like then ask him out. If you don't do anything about it, then why do you get upset? She's probably jealous of you, and you should take it as a compliment that she thinks that you have good taste in guys!
