No, not really. I lived in Chicago for a few years. At first, I was enthralled by the snow. I loved cuddling up to something or someone warm after venturing in from the cold. Eating the delicious takeout soup from Tempo. Well . . .after the first year, the luv affair was over. Trying to walk in snow, sleet or freezing rain as the wind whipped off the lake was HELL!!! And it was cloudy and dreary for too many weeks in the winter. Oh did I mention the many times I busted my a** on the icy sidewalks. I absolutely loved Chi Town, but my Texas blood could not handle the winters.

I miss the fall colors here in Fla. From Wisconsin been here since Jan,.94 Yes it gets Hot & humid. You do things outdoors early and of course air condinting is a must. But the winters north can be harsh so you use heat. And the summers are not that great where we came from in Wisc. Your body does adjust to heat as it does to cold. Hope this answers your?

You can always visit back up north, when you get nostalgic for that crispness. But you do not have to shovel snow and wrap up like an eskimo all the time in winter in Atlanta. In the South, we rarely have to break out a heavy jacket ever.

Yes! I lived in Arizona for 14 years of my life. I hated it because I was born in Colorado and nothing beats the colors of the fall and beauty of the winter. Truly great seasons of the year.

Please don't get me started on my "Oh my God I miss the snow so much" routine.
I love living in the sun on many levels, but my heart bleeds for a good snowstorm!
