I worked as a fitting specialist for Dillards for three years fitting women for bras. I would say that 8 out of 10 women that I measured they were wearing the wrong size. Mostly too big of a band and cups that were not big enough. Underwire offers you the best support compared to no wires. They also give you a better shape. If you are correctly fitted for a bra your underwire will not hurt you. If it pokes you in your armpit then the cup is too small if the underwire won't stay underneath your breast the band is too big! Believe me when I say that I have seen plenty of breasts that have not been supported correctly and after fitting them into the right bra they looked slimmer, younger and no matter how big they were the overall appearance was 10 times better than when they came in!

I love them because they help support my puppies. The under wire used to irritate me but I solved that buy not purchasing cheap A bras. Spend some money on your puppies, they are worth it. You know your puppies should not hang below the inside of your elbow. They should be between your bicep and the inside of the elbow.

Macy's and Nordstroms have a great line of bras and the associates will fit you so you will know the exact size. Most women are running around here and don't even know the exact size of their pup's. My advise is get fitted and try on as many as you can to get a good look. Peace boo!

Yes I don't have a choice as I need the support however I have twice experienced the wire practically piercing my skin and had to perform some maneouvres to pull it out my clothing as quickly as possible and without grabbing too much attention. Then I had to walk around with one boob lower than the other until I could go yank out the other wire.

Sure do. Probably because I believe in the whole "underwire bras help prevent early sagging" superstition. Better safe than sorry, right? Either way you get used to the wire.

Who even likes to wear a bra? I wear em but only because the twins need the support.

I have really small boobs so I *techinically* don't need them but I only wear 'em. Just used to it I guess. I've never had problems with them popping out and poking me, maybe I'm just not that sensitive or used to it?
