I totally agree with Ian Rush!
I used to watch him play when i was a child and wanted to play like him!
I was actually comparing the present Liverpool players to him when i watched the match on tuesday!
As Ian Rush n the boys back then played as an actual team and they knew what they were doing!

I think Steven Gerrard has got to be the one, if not then he is surely on par with King Kenny. Remember he is still only 26 and he should be reaching his peak this year and a couple of more seasons yet!

A lot of them, but for me the best would have to be Kevin Keegan. Others are Dalglish, Rush, Grobbellar, Souness, Hansen, Barnes, Mc Mahon, Whelan, Nichol, Beardsley, Johnston, Molby, Gillespie, Aldridge, Houghton, Fowler, Mc Manaman, Owen, Gerrard.

These two sure are legends, but I think Stevie G should become the all-time best before he retires from Liverpool. You really can't get a better midfielder than him, he is too good to be excluded from the top 11 players in modern football.
