An autopsy was performed Monday. On Tuesday, Her Majesty's Coroner Linda P. Virgill said that based on preliminary findings, "the cause of death is not natural." But, she said, "we wish to reserve [announcing] the cause of death at this time," adding that a toxicology results and a full autopsy report will be released by the end of the week.
Virgill said an inquest will take place afterward and her staff will interview all "relevant witnesses," including Anna Nicole Smith, hospital workers and flight attendants, to develop an official timeline.
The coroner's statements came in the wake of a story in the Nassau Guardian that Daniel Smith suffered a "massive heart attack" and that antidepressants had been found in his system. The newspaper said that Daniel was seen "vomiting uncontrollably" shortly before his death.

As a mother of a 20 year old son, they'd have to put me in a strait jacket if anything happened to him or my other children.
I saw this morning that they're now saying it was not a massive heart attack, like they previously stated. They also said his death was "unnatural", they knew what killed him but are awaiting confirmation from the toxicology reports, and that a THIRD PARTY was in the room with him but will not give out the name. I couldn't imagine having a child, then losing one in the span of 3 days. GOD Bless her.

I didn't even know her son died! That's so sad! And to the first person who commented...if we always focused on the "more important things" we'd go crazy. You can't spend all day worrying about war and poverty and politics. It's unhealthy and it's why people die young of heart attacks and cancer so ease up and calm down and understand that no matter who she is to you, she still lost her son.

Well, they found no indication of brain damage or heart attack, so now the speculation is drugs or something. They are waiting on the toxicology report.

his heart stopped beating and three minutes later his brain shut-down. its cruel but this is a fact this is what happened-leave the rest to the coroner-she has my deepest condolences.
