Anyone know what is Red V Protector Suite, its come up on my spyware scan, its low level prob, but where is it from> I didnt download it and cant find any info on it.

Red V Protector Suite is adware which first came out in July 2003 according to Computer Associates. It accesses pop-up ads but appears to pose no actual threat. It was probably installed by drive-by download from some page you visited.

A good firewall will prevent at least some of this practice and also keep such malware from getting out to the Internet if it does install.

Spyware can be download from any site you visit
and if its low level prob don't worry and delete it

not sure.. but your scan found it and removed it... if your still worried, do a search on your pc for "red v protector suite...and delete anything you find... ad-aware'se* is the best scanner to use...you will be shocked at the things it finds.... g'luckx

this is bad. the problem will only escalate. i won't go into the gruesome details but this program WILL eat you and everyone you love
