In 2002 I was dating a guy and he thought we were having sex but in never went in. Then I gave him oral sex.
I just recently started back having sex with another guy,I decide to go get tested and it came up I had chlyamdia. My current bf goes into a major panic mode and apologizes if he gave it to me, he and I have had reg.sex and oral sex (bothways) Now he goes and gets tested and he says he doesn't have it. I think he is lying. I think he is saying he didnt have it cuz he dont want to be the one who gave it to. He was just stabbed and taking antiobiotics for the wound. He says the antibiotics may hae cured him if he had it.
So I don't know if I got it from guy 1 or guy2-my current boyfreind)
My questions;
1.We hav had sex alot of times, Im sure if I had he would have got it 2, is it possible 4 him not 2 catch it?
2.Let's say he did have it could the antibiotics he took 4 the wound clear up Chlamydia?
3.Guy2& I are very much in luv do u think this will ruin our relationship?

I'm pretty sure an antibiotic taken for a stab wound would NOT be the same thing that would clear up an STD. Many men can have chlyamdia and have no symptoms. But if he got tested and said he didn't have it that makes no sense. You should have passed it on to him!! It could be he never got tested, I'm told it's kinda painful for a man to be tested for STD's. You need to get the truth about this matter otherwise you'll just keep passing it back and forth to each other.

It only takes one time to get infected. If you've had unprotected sex even once, then yes he's been exposed. At this point origin is a moot point....unless you end up with a recurrence (then its time to reassess this relationship). After getting the all clear from the doc, I would recommend getting retested at 6 and 12 months....just to be safe.

You can have the disease for ages and not show symptoms. Did you have symptoms when you were tested? Probably not. You could have had it for ages.

Same goes for your bf. Men can be carriers and are even less likely to have symptoms than women.

He probably WAS given antibiotics for the wound and yes the antibiotics will clear it up (this is the typical treatment for the disease).
Please note: If he got the antibiotics for the wound, and then was tested before you were and you had sex in that gap, you could have reinfected him. If that is the case he needs to be treated along with you, otherwise you will just continue to reinfect each other over and over.

If you guys are open to the probability that it was a pre-existing condition prior to your current relationship, it's a very good chance that you can have a healthy happy relationship.
Like I said though, if you retest 6 or 12 months from now and come up with a second case, dump the jerk.

Answer to question 1.
Yes, it is possible that he does not have the disease and didn't get it from having sex with you. That is not a very LIKELY scenario, though, but when it comes to STD's anything is possible.
Answer to question 2.
There is a specific antibiotic for Chlamydia and if he hasn't taken that specific one, then it won't get rid of it.
Answer to question 3.
It will only "ruin" your relationship if you and your boyfriend allow it to. Playing the "blame game" is fruitless, and if a person is sexually promiscuous then it is impossible to tell where and from whom you got disease. Some STD's can lie dormant for years and one will never have any symptoms, or they may have symptoms years later. Chlamydia has no symptoms, so a person doesn't really know they have it so is therefore clueless when passing it on. If you have tested positive for Chlamydia, your boyfriend needs to be treated with the correct antibiotics so you don't keep passing it back and forth to each other.

Men are only carriers of chlamydia and don't exhibit symptoms - so neither of these guy will be sure if they gave it to you if they weren't tested by a doctor. Also, there are different types of antibiotics for different kinds of infections. One type of antibiotic may only be effective against one type of bacteria. The type of antibiotics that your boyfriend was taking may not have been effective against chlamydia. Also, if your current boyfriend does have chlamydia, you could end up giving it back and forth to each other. The only way to know for sure is to have your boyfriend get tested for chlamydia. I think to test for it, the doctor needs to get a fluid sample from inside his penis. Ask him about the test - if he says that the test was just a blood test, then you know he is lying.

Also, you should abstain from sex until you finish all of your antibiotics. Chlamydia is serious, it can leave you infertile if left untreated. You should tell your boyfriend that you won't have sex with him until you see the results of his sex. Get the actual paper with the results on it!

Someone is lying.

You need to ask him, since you're in love, to see his results or be there when he gowes back in for another check up.

I don't know if anti-b can clear up chlamydia.. I don't know much about the STD
