AAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I can't understand.

I'm a Liberal, I don't believe in corporal punishment, I think Guns are bad, I believe people should be able to LIVE however they want as long as they're not hurting anyone.

I'm supposed to be pro choice... And yet my own Biological Mother tried to have me aborted. If it weren't for my Grandmother I wouldn't be sitting here.

How can that be right? People will no doubt tell you that when my "Mother" made her decision I was not a person, I was only a bundle of cells. WTF? I'm a person now, I work with ex-offenders and substance misuser's. I'm not a saint, but I work every day to make the world a better and more tolerant place.

People don't normally remember anything until their second or third birthday and if a child younger than say three was left alone he would not be able to survive. So why is it murder if a "mother" kills a toddler or new born baby????????

This is one thing I just can't quite understand. Where's the logic in it?

The answer to your question is No. It's the same as saying; I'm a spoiled little ****** who doesn't want to suffer for nine months, so I'll rob some poor sucker of his future.

Such Hamster Rage.

Abortion should be a personal decision. No one should decide on an abortion except for the person who wants one.

If you don't believe in abortion, don't have one. No one has ANY right to tell another what they can do with a cluster of cells. At the time an abortion happens the "baby" isn't really a baby at all. It's a cluster of cells with no brain or heart/heartbeat. Those cells could be anything; skin, a liver, a lung, and yes, even a heart. But no one can for sure say what it exactly is. Yes, those cells will eventually form a baby, but like I said, at the time of an abortion it is not a baby. Many people disagree, and that's fine. But they have no right to tell someone who wants an abortion not to have one. Just as someone who believes in abortion, has no right to tell others who don't want one to have one.

Different circumstances. "If I can't have you noone will", is premeditated murder. In other words, a extremely jealous, insecure, jilted partner unable to cope with the separation, becomes enraged to the extent he/she take another human beings life.
An abortion is relatively the same. The circumstances surrounding a living fetus inside the body is a decision that is more and likely difficult to make. The pregnancy can be life threatening (baby/mother); by molestation; fear of paternal abandonment; financial security is zero; or the environment is violent.
NOTE> This is a controversial question, that has numerous opinions.

I don't see it that way. Many women have very valid reasons for getting an abortion. What if the woman was raped? Or if her life was in danger by continuing the pregnancy? My roommate had an atopic pregnancy (where the fetus/embryo is growing in the ovarian tubes instead of the uterus). She had to have surgery to remove the baby otherwise her ovarian tube would have burst causing enough unstoppable internal bleeding to kill her. So in her case an abortion was the best thing she could do.

Abortion is legalized murder...it's a shame, when adoption exists. Abortion is rarely to save the life of a mother...its usually because the baby is inconvenient or an embarrasment.

I knoe alot of toddlers that are inconvenient, and sometimes embarrasing...why not snap their necks and suck their brains into a tub?

Why not adults that have actually shown to be aburden on society?

And, no, I didn't actually suggest we do these things...they are rhetorical questions hoping to stir some thought.

Not at all. What about having an abortion because carrying the baby might cause harm or kill the mother?

Never thought of it that way but that is an excellent point. With so many couples not able to have children..,why not give a child to someone who will raise the child with two parents and the love of those parents.Abortion has been any easy way out for women who dont want the one thing they are responsible for..,raising a child.Lets try another way of birth control ladies.

nope. it's saying "i'm an adult making an adult decision, and the feelings I have after are ones that I have to live with". So why so worried about what it means? May mean that to you. Means different to alot of women who have been raped, molested, etc.
