I have a couple hundred very interesting comic book characters, with basic stories and pictures of them all. I need a co-artist // c0-writer to help start getting them drawn and written out fully.
I prefer some un-published person, like myself, who wants to get started and hopefully suceed.

I used to be a "stripper" who would dearly loved to have been syndicated. But as time went by I found out that it a dog-eat-dog world in comics.

I am not trying to disillusion you but instead I'm trying to tell you what you're going to face.

1. Comic artists very seldom get time off. There are deadlines to be met, edits, work that has been sent back for revision.

2. If you do get syndicated, most of the syndicators will have a say in the content and "slant" of your strip. If you're not one of the top rated comics the syndicators will lean more heavily on you to use their suggestion on content.

3. Publishers (comics or daily papers) will, at least in part, dictate the content and amount of space you will be allowed and some will even omit a strip if they find it objectionable.

4. Get an agent. Above all, get an agent.

Like I said, I'm not trying to discourage you but I'm trying to open your eyes to what you are facing.

Good luck.

It's nice that you really liked comics. i would have gladly help you since I know how to draw. But I suggest that if you plan to publish your work, then make sure that the magazine or any comic-based company would acknowledge your works since they might claim those as theirs-in other words steal them away from you. If you want to make comics just for fun or to post them on your website, then I'll say, "go for it!" Goodluck!
