A little too familiar, but I believe that the Iranian leader is brighter than Saddam, and very much a modern thinker. bush will not be able to walk all over him so easily.

That is the way "some" would want us to see it, that because we went into Iraq, we now "have to" go into Iran. The reality is that Iran is a mouse that roars, and by reacting to everything Iran does Bush empowers Iran! Iran is not that big a threat, and enough of the world is lined up against Iran's efforts so the USA should shut up and stop empowering the wacko president of Iran. the more we rage against him and their baby nuke efforts, the more the people of Iran unite against us and support their wacko. Many didn't like the wacko until the USA opened its mouth.

The difference is that Iran openly and publicly concedes that it is pursing nuclear technology and open asserts its right as a sovereign nation to have nuclear technology.

Personally, I don't want Iran to have nukes 10 years from now. I think their "Pure Islamic State" mindset is midevil and they are not ready to own a weapon that can destroy the entire world.

Iran has shown via Hezbollah/Lebanon that they will supply terrorists with weapons to attack their enemies.

So, not really the same situtation iraq/iran.

also - a full invasion of Iran shouldn't be necessary to stop nuclear proliferation. Either Israel or the US should be able to take out nuclear facilities from the air.

Yes, the phony situation does - We have to attack them before they attack us - but the real situation is completely different.

Iranians (Persians) do not hate the west or secular society and do not breed extremists.

Beware, Iran has not undergone decades of sanctions like Iraq had. Their army is robust, and their people are not hungry.

Don't let those who want to invade Iran - for their own interests - convince you that it is the right thing to do.

You are smarter than that, right.
