Remove the termainal cables, ground wire first. Take loose brackets. Lift old battery out. Put new battery in. Clean battery cable connectors. Install brackets. Put positive cable on battery first. Then install black negative cable. Pat your self on the back for a job well done. Then have a cold beer. Actually you will find that a beer goes good with all of the above steps. If you start the car make sure you are on your own property. If you need to test drive it have a sober friend do that.

remove the bracket holding the old battery in place. ( on some vehicles, if you disconnect the battery, it may mess up the computer. make sure your car is not one of these.) take the negative battery cable off first. remove the posative cable and take out old battery. replace with new one and put negative cable on first. put posative cable on and then the bracket. done deal. ( if your car will mess up if baqttery is disconnected, put the cable on a battery charger to keep system up.)
