Do my little secret,Go to a Home Depot or Lowes and rent thier truck. You get it for 75 mins for only $19.00.How can you beat that. There is no "rule" that says you can only use thier truck for hauling thier stuff.I used it for the same purpose.I even used it to take my Harley to the repair shop.It comes with sturdy ramps too!

Sometimes when [our] ( Lowes) where all out,Itold people to go rent HD"s truck across the street!

U haul is only $20/day plus miles. If the set was cheap, it would be worth it to spend the $20-30 to move it. Or else try to think of a friend or neighbor u could borrow a truck from.

Do you have a friend with a truck or van who will help you move the furniture? Meanwhile, you probably can put the dresser drawers in the back seat of your car.

If someone agrees to help you with the furniture, offer to buy pizza or something similar afterwards.

Good luck!

Do you have ANY type of vehicle? If so, consider multiple trips if the distance is reasonable. Mattresses can easily be tied down to the top of most ANY vehicle, running the ropes thru windows and from bumper to bumper. Also, the mattress itself can act as a cushion for items atop it in the move.

Also, Lowe's rents trucks and trailers by the hour, its like $7 an hour, but not absolutely sure if you have to be hauling stuff from them that you bought.

You can rent a truck from Home Depot. My in-laws did that when they were moving into a new house. http://www.homedepot.com/prel80/HDUS/EN_US/diy_main/pg_diy.jsp?BV_SessionID=@@@@1035180770.1158167483@@@@&BV_EngineID=cceladdildididkcgelceffdfgidglm.0&CNTTYPE=PROD_META&CNTKEY=SuperFeatures2/Miscellaneous/SV_Truck_Rental_1003&MID=9876&pos=n44
