Denis Norton has reached a rarely televised limbo stage. Quite simply he is neither dead nor alive. This is a state which is often attempted to be masked by layers of plastic surgery. As Mr. Norton has abstained from surgery we can clearly see his decrepid state. This abstenance is a move welcomed by science as we can actually see the mechanics of what happens when the body begins to decompose whilst the nervous system continues to function on a low level. It is disguised somewhat by the make up he wears on TV but to no great affect. So hopefully this answers the question and you realise that the reason you cannot verify his death is because no death certificate has been issued but trust me- he's a gonner.

How come when his 'laughter' file is on it's always number 5 or 6? I've been watching it since I was a kid so if it was being realistic it should be up to at least number 30 by now. Is he dead then?

He is alive and well - but is retired - finally gave way to younger people.

He's probably going to answer this question personally, in his "It'll be alright on the nigth style".
