Of course there is professional women footballers. Take a look at TheFA.com and select 'womens'.

Ironic that the womens football team has more chance of winning the World Cup than the oh-so-supreme male's side.

Fact is, becomming a professional footballer as a woman is alot harder than getting into a team as a man. Depending where you live, your local men's team usually from Prem to Championship will have a centre for women/girls and fund their team well.

The younger you are the better, as you'll be able to progress more and have a solid direction to aim for and your dream of becomming a Professional football (even as a woman) is now more than ever a possibility; it can only get better.
