jogging is a little discouraging in the beginning, but it's a lot of fun. it can be bad for you joints if you run on too much cement and asphalt. cement and marble and granite are the worst. so stay on the street if you can. avoid the sidewalk......or just run in a giant open field. that won't hurt your joints at all...
have fun with it!!!!!

Good: Increases you stamina; give you a stronger heart; really gets your blood flowing; helps you feel good.

Bad: If you have the wrong shoes... Ouch!; depending on the type of surface your on, it could hurt your feet, ankles & knees; all those neigborhood dogs that like to chase you.

GOOD: GREAT CARDIO WORKOUT. GET YOUR HEART AND LUNGS IN SHAPE.
BAD: I GUESS I AGREE WITH THAT IT MIGHT BE HARD ON THE KNEES.

I DO THINK ONE CAN ALIVIATE THAT BY JOGGING NOT ONLY ON CONCRETE, ASPHALT, ETC., BUT MAYBE ON GRASS, TREADMILL(KINDA BOUNCY), GYM FLOOR.
