I don't know if this is a long shot, but does anyone know this song??

ok, i don't know the name of the song or who sings it, thats why i said its a long shot, but i heard it on the radio the other day and loved it.

its kinda an R&b slow song, woman sings it, and she's saying like:

theres something i have to give to you... (or maybe she said want).
she's saying like she wants to give him his freedom since he's not happy with her anymore. but all throughout the song she keeps singing "there's something i need to give to you"

anyone know it?
