In no particular order... I don't remember anything past this so I guess my opinion is a little limited.
Alabama 1977 -1979
Miami 1987-1990
Nebraska 1994 - 1995
I would also put the 1996 Florida Gators that offense was awesome also Miami in 2001 and 2002 would be on the list if the hadn't lost the 02 fiesta bowl to Ohio State... (questionable call in the endzone)

The 2002 Miami Hurricanes (though they lost to Ohio St. in a great game.)

Here is something easier..... The 3 best college football programs of all time.
1. Notre Dame
2. USC
3. Ohio State
The first two are obvious the are actually about a tie for 1st. The 3rd you can make an argument for a couple more maybe Michigan, Oklahoma, and a stretch for Alabama.

I would agree, I just happen to be living in Nebraska during the earily 90, the had on hell of a program, hopefully, they will continue with that tradition soon.
