Yes.

According to http://www.statistics.gov.uk/cci/nugget.asp?id=288
women, on average, do 3 hours per day of housework and men do about an hour and 40 minutes.

Yes, even though men are helping out in the domestic labor area women still have the biggest part to do. Women work outside the home, take care of the kids, cook the meals, wash the clothes, and clean the house. Men may help out in some of these areas but as the old saying goes a woman's work is never done.

well in my opinion it is best to be a team with your partner. Now if the women is a stay at home mom then yes she should keep the house clean and see about the kids. But if both people work it is only fair to share to house work and other responsibilities.

I'd say it's about 60/40, here, with me bearing the 60%, but my husband's long hours of work increase his 40% to about an 80%. ^_~

After all... we can't expect a man to work 10-12 hours of work, come home, and take care of all the household duties, now, can we? It's not fair to them. Women still need to uphold our fair share of work, especially so if we're housewives/stay-at-home moms like myself.

Yes, sadly for us we are cleaner than men.
Most women can't stand being in a dirty, messy place...men, in the other hand, just don't care. Most of them (not all, of course) can live in a complete mess all their lives...
