George Orwell predicted that in 1984 double speak would exist and what would be called an "A" would actually be a "B" and so forth. Well he was off by about 16 years, cuz when Bush was elected that is when true double speak began in America. The conning of America is the Bush legacy. Unfortunate.

I could ask the same question about "Conservatives."
And besides... the term is "Compassionate Conservative" not "Compassionate Liberal."
I know for a fact that compassion isn't a word that most liberals want to actually use for the fact that Conservatives have twisted it. They'd like to use that word, but it has such a tainted connotation because of the term "Compassionate Conservative."

You hate us because we speak of tolerance, acceptance, and equal rights. We ALWAYS have. While you folks want laws that only benefit yourselves. Bush's politics are nothing but hate and fear. Fear of terrorism, gays, equal taxation, abortion RIGHTS for women...need I go on?
You folks are selling us all out. You sold out our soldiers lives by sending them to fight a war under false pretense, deny gays equal rights because you convinced yourselves they're a threat, threw away our rights, liberties, and protections out of misguided fear, and continue selling out us regular folks to the rich and foreign interests every time your politicians promise you some reward for doing so.
WE care about ALL Americans. You are self-serving, self-righteous, self-important, mis-guided biggots, who don't care about anyone but yourselves and your subjective pseudo-morality. You RE-NAME things to fit your screwed up imaginary vision (War on Terror - the Patriot Act is against Americans, Family Values - is sanctioned discrimination, Patriotism - while throwing away our civil liberties, rights, and protections, gays "lifetsyle choice" - when it's neither a lifestyle nor a choice, etc).
Fear and hate are what you folks are ALL about. The proof is in how much Bush uses the word ATTACK to stir all you drama-addicts into a neo-con, hate-spewing, frenzy.
