No they will not go into hiding, they will take up the roll the DNC have been playing for the last few years, that of the spoiler. Just as the DNC prevented several laws to be passed or voted on, the GOP will do the same. All this in the best interest of the party and not of the American public.

Why don't you start reading more - political analysts don't think the Republican's outlook is as 'doom & gloomy' as originally reported.
Everyone thought Rep. would loose seats in '02 and loose the White House in '04 - how valid were those reports?

The Conservative will never go away. Someone has to fight for this country. The reason the conservatives are stronger is because we had to deal with socialist in office during the clinton regime. We figured out that we need to fight to save our country from being destroyed from within. The liberals are doing a hell of a job.
