Does anyone have any idea why?

I think "My Space" is right. The tummy tuck thing!! Never thought of that!! Man that sure would be nice. I just feel sorry for the poor women who beat themselves up because they dont look like that after they have their children!!!

Because alot of celebrities have tummy tucks immediately after giving birth. Have you seen pictures of Sarah Jessica Parker, Toni Braxton (who actually admitted to having it done), and others when they're leaving the hospital? They look like they just came off vacation! I don't know about you, but when I had mine, I still looked pregnant for the first day or two after. And then it still took time to get back to normal!

When they get a C-section, the doctors can do a tummy tuck and you'll never know...the scar is there already. Celebrities get alot of procedures that are not even available to us, and sometimes not even safe, because doctors want to appease them and get great referrals.

And whoever says that a C-section is painless is crazy! It actually hurts worse in the long run and takes three times as long to heal. And you have to wait twice as long to excercise so you can get back into shape. Natural childbirth--you can have an epidural and then just wait for the natural healing process. It's actually not that bad.

They do it so they can keep up appearances. I think it's sad that they would rather go through more pain and risk their health than look bad for photographers!

Convenience. the time & place is selected.
Caesarian is usually done with general anesthesia, or epidural.
Natural delivery can have pain eliminated by epidural anesthesia.
C. section has a lower mortality rate than natural delivery, and less birth complications. But mother & child do not bond immedaitely as in natural childbirth.
Doc. Dan.
Non-emergency c. sections usually are done through "bikini cuts" that position the scar where it is difficult to see.

They are too cool to push.

And they want to schedule everything so they don't have to deal with the onset of labor and all that goes with it being photographed. By scheduling a section they can go in the hospital in the middle of the night when the paparazzi are less likely to be snooping around and they can walk in with their heads held high and their clothes dry and their wits about them. Think of the chaos caused when they try to get a latte. Can you imagine Kevin trying to drive an in labor Britney to the hospital! The whole of California would have to shut down so everyone could get a picture. They'd never make it.

Because they don't want 2 go through the pain of child birth. I'd do a cesarean too.

There are medical reasons to have a c-section. Sometimes women who have had a c-section with the first child will decide to have another with the second. It has to do with the anatomy of the uterus, etc.
