I was given Vicodin when I blew out my ACL. I took them for three days. They plugged me up and, no matter how much water I drank, didn't take a dump for a week. Why people would take that stuff for pleasure is beyond me. Then again when kids chug Robitussin cough syrup for a buzz, something tells me people have deeper issues.

I was on Vicodin for about a month after a bad car wreck.
It wasn't anything special, it made me feel "spaced out" but it didn't control the pain much. It mostly made me feel spaced out while in pain. The worst part is getting off of a pain killer when you've been on it for awhile. Withdrawals are very unpleasant. Headache's, nausea, shakes. Not a lot of fun.

I'm on vicodin right now. I had UV burns to my eyes (long story). Anyway, I have 500 mg of vicodin. It's an okay buzz, nothing special. You just feel weird for a bit and loopy.

I have taken Vicodin for pain, but it doesn't do anything but make me sick to my stomach/nauseous. Since then if a Dr. prescribes it for me I ask for something milder.

I think in general more people are addicted to anti-anxiety drugs like Xanax.

Oh yeah I have taken Vicodin. Good stuff. Makes you very mellow - of course the first time I took it I went straight to sleep.

My avie looks almost like yours... anyways... I am supposed to be taking Vicodin right now , but it makes me sleepy, loopy and doesnt really stop the pain. Plus not to mention the uncontrolable vomitting. I stopped taking them yesturday. Ugh... I know some people who take them for fun and I'm like "why?"

I did many years ago after a motorcycle accident. Like most everyone says, it made me a little sick to my stomach and very sleepy. But you do need to monitor that stuff very carefully. Any reputable doc won't give any refills on a Vic script.

I'm no addict but have taken Vics. They didn't do much more than make me itch so I stopped taking them as soon as I could. Pills are overrated as recreational drugs.

I've been on them for years for arthritis. I definitely don't take them for the buzz.
