And isn't the word "queue" the strangest word in English?

Now that we have the Net, it's very easy to do the search in the web and come up with the answer: a long serie of words which comply with the requested.
But most of them are quite unknown or hardly used.
IN THE OLD DAYS, when you were asked this question , and hadn't a clue about the answer, daddy or, mostly, grandad would then, proudly inform you:
ABSTEMIOUS AND FACETIOUS.
By the way, you were a child then and didn't know the meaning of those either.
