Try 5 minutes of cold cucumber slices or cold green tea bags on your eyes in the morning - both help get rid of those nice bags under our eyes we see in the mirror when we wake up. Or you can get a gel eye mask that you can put in the fridge the night before, so you can just grab it first thing in the morning. Less bags under the eyes makes for a more awake look.

And also get some mint tea - the scent & taste of mint is known to be energizing. If you want to nix the caffeine, you can get decaf mint tea at most stores also.

Take some slow deep breaths & do some stretches. This will help you FEEL more awake & energized, without taking up the time of a full work out. And FEELING more awake helps you LOOK more awake. :)

I'm still trying to find that out. One thing that has worked for me is a clay mask in the morning followed by a good moisturizer. Drink one bottle of water or some fruit to wake up(energy).
Lately I have just been trying these steps:
1.Get enough sleep at night. If not make sure the reason why you were up late was that you had a damn good time the night before. This makes me feel a little bit better when I get up.
2.Don't eat so late towards bedtime. It makes your body work hard overnight giving you that I didn't get any sleep look.
3. Take a vitamin before bedtime.
4. Have a good wake up song. If you can bear listening to music in the morning.

Splash cold water in your face, and pull your hair into a pony tail. Hair is usually the first sign that you have been just sleeping or not. Pony tails are quick to do, and look fine for most occasions. The cold water wakes you up very fast and tends to give you a fresh feeling, which can give the impression of being awake :-) hope that helps!

well make sure your skin is always exfoliated, that way it will always look "glowing".

my morning routine consists of cleansing my face and moisturising. If i have time i use make up to make me look awake, a good natural foundation, and concealer under the eyes does the trick. takes 5 mins to do! you could also use a little highlighter on the t-zone,nose and cheeks.

Keep your hair short, perhaps a buzz cut. It seems like those with buzz cuts always look awake in the morning, and less dissheveled, even if they don't take a shower.

Wake up, walk into the wall, the pain usually alerts me and my eyes snap open. After that wash your face.

P.S: Telling yourself you are awake helps a lot. Psychology!
