You should get some of that stuff they sell at nurserys that cats hate. I cannot remember the name right now. Some type of orange smell they hate. Then try a trap and have the City animal shelter come pick them up.

or the cheap litter...whatever flaots your boat.

I think I'd suddenly feel the need to use a Super Soaker to water my garden, from the window of the house.

Or, you could break into the neighbor's house when they're not home and use the cat's litter box as a toilet. That cat would spend so much time at the vet after that, it wouldn't be able to walk to your house anymore. Talk about some confused cat owners...

Nah, just get a sprinkler system. Camp out a couple of days and turn on the sprinklers when the cat is expressing himself in your garden. A few encounters with the sprinklers and the cat will not visit your garden for any more deposits!

No need to worry about keeping it fresh…though the property value may go down. Since the garden will be ruined anyway, just get a big cat-eating dog to dig up the space that was once your garden. It will force the cat to move to some new area for its natural needs.

If the garden is reasonably small, you can try using chicken wire or some other sort of mesh on the ground to prevent the cat (and squirrels) from digging in it.

Mist the outside spots of the border of your garden with ammonia for about a week or as soon as you get rid of the cat.

Have you considered laying an electrical grid in the soil of your garden? Keeps the plants warm.....and, as a bonus, you'll get to see a cat dance.

I'd say spray that cat with the water hose when it comes around, or a water bottle at least

And spray some citrus in your garden, or whatever smell it is that deters them.
