for a noble cause u give blood, it is not harming at all, it is a little pinch when the needle goes in. do not forget to drink some fruit juice after u donate blood.

The needle doesn't hurt anymore than any other needle. Looking away is best.

Listen to your ipod - enjoy the rest.

Make sure you don't get up to quickly afterwards though - else you will pass out. Take it easy for a few hours afterwards.

No it feels the same as getting a shot just you feel things comin out of you not being put into you. It doesnt hurt and it only take a couple seconds.

Nope. Some people have anaesthetic but I never do. You do have the choice though. I'm a total wimp but I was ok.

hurts every time---the initial pin prick and then just the pressure--soooo worth it--especially if you are a universal donor.
