Not that I want to learn how to do it myself, but I want to get an idea of how that is possible, and what to do to prevent it(technically speaking please, I am not looking for counseling or legal services here). Thanks

yes he can if he has sufficient skills and opportunities. to prevent it, change your password immediately and frequently. Use something difficult to guess each time. check for bogus services running on the computer that may indicate a keylogger. run a good virus and spyware scan to eliminate any trojans. discuss your suspicion with your hubby. distrust breeds distrust, and that destroys marriages.

If you forget to sign out (not just close with the little 'x') your Yahoo Messenger, then your husband can get right into your yahoo email by clicking on the email tab.
Remember to sign out of YM, and Yahoo, before you close
also, never use the 'remember this password' feature either
(I actually dont care if my husband sees my email, but I dont want my kids getting into my account because I belong to some Yahoo groups that are for adults only, so I use all of these precautions for that reason)

when you never changed your password ,then he can just one time found your password then he always will check with out any track .
even if you change by some password finders specially for yahoo messenger or msn messenger he can so easy find out your password by just 3 click to open program.he can find this kind softwares as ant in the world in internet ,he can track your typed charrectors by keylogger programs ,if your not expert you can do 3 things
1-leave your email or even close or delete it and never open another one too because he will find.
2-do change your password from another computer in one trusted place as your sister home ?????????? and never check it again from your computer also you must change your security question that you have and you must change your alternative email password too.
3-be a good woman to your husband ,then you would not have any thing to hide from him ,let he check that much he likes

you in all probability already be attentive to his person call. think of of something that he would use for a password. men generally do no longer positioned a lot theory into passwords so it's going to be something very glaring, like a pets call, a childs call, a commonly used foodstuff, or perhaps the call of your maximum suitable buddy which you think of he's taking part in around with.

You probably wrote down the password on a paper he found or he watched over your shoulder as you typed it or you used something obvious like your address as the password. That is called "social engineering" and is the easiest way to get a password.

With computers anything is possible. He or someone hacked into your account.

Try changing your user id and password password or just leave this 1 as is and set up a new one with another provider.

if he has access to your computer he can either read your emails from your temporary internet files folder or he can install a keylogger program to record everyone of your keystrokes.

to clean out your temporary internet files folder in internet explorer click tools > internet options > delete files button

download and install this spyware program to get rid of the keylogger.

Click where it says this "Download Now Free download 2.72MB".

He sure can. You'd be surprised at what a person with the proper training can hack.

Sure, if he find out your password, he can log in and out and change things without you ever finding out. I did it to my friend once, so its totally possible.

you may have a keylogger installed on your computer. You will need a anti-keylogger utility. Or find a program that's called "who's watching me".
