No it is nothing to worry about. Count your blessings!
I have had babies that were very calm and content, and babies that were, um, more vocal. Both are normal! Congratulations!
Since your baby is a calm and easygoing type, I recommend keeping a close watch on her for early hunger signs, so you are sure she's eating often enough. She should go no longer than 3 hours without eating during the day. It is fine to let her sleep as long as she wants at night.

Girrrl, you should count your lucky stars that you don't have a crying baby, because this is just the beginning, you definitely have some crying and whining to deal with when she begans teething. Both my boys were good babies,no crying, slept thru the night, were content with themselves until disaster hit and teething was a nightmare from hell, well maybe not hell but somewhere close. Its hard not being able to take the pain away except for some motrin and a little bit of orajel.Enjoy that she doesn't cry,GOOD LUCK!!!

My son is now 2 1/2 months old and was the same way when he was a newborn. Enjoy the peacefulness while it lasts becuase the crying will come with time. However on the positive side, when my son does cry it is for a reason... never just to cry. So you have been blessed with a baby that is peaceful. Unless she is lethargic, don't worry about crying.

RE:
Newborn doesn't cry?
I have a beautiful seven-day-old baby girl who is a VERY good baby. The only time she cries is when we give her a bath. She doesn't tell us when her diaper is wet and when she's hungry, she just gives off little grunts...but doesn't cry. I know I should count my blessings, but as a...

I wouldn't. I am also blessed with very good babies. My baby's didn't hardly cry either. I asked my doc about it when I took them (all of them) to their two week check and he asked me if I was serious. He laughed and said if they don't cry I am blessed. If she is showing no other signs of distress (hard time breathing, wheezing sound, blueish color, not wetting or going number 2 or not eating enough) then you are fine and very lucky! I did notice, my girls didn't care if they were wet, but my boys would let me know. It just sounds like you have a very easy going baby!
CONGRATULATIONS! Babies are blessings from above! Enjoy it while she is little! They grow FAST!

When my three year old was born she never cried and slept for 14 hours straight. We were worried about crib death cause she slept so soundly. When she woke up she never cried. EVER! She is fine and the doctor told us it is perfectly normal for some not to cry very often.
However, now at 3 years she cries all the time. Oh how I wish she was still a newborn.

Mom of 4 has it going on...notice she took her baby to a doctor and asked the question - she didn't post it on Yahoo Answers. What the heck do we know? We aren't doctors! What if you listen to all these people telling you don't worry nothing is wrong and it turns out something is wrong and the doctor wants to know what took you so long bringing her in and you say - what? - everyone on Yahoo told me not to worry?

I wouldn't be concerned. When my son was born he was the same way. However it took him about a month and he had the crying thing down.
I would just enjoy it and hope she stays that way.

You are blessed. My daughter cries if you look at her wrong it seems like!
And with the wet diaper thing. That will come later. They don't really know the difference right now...give it about two months and you will know when she needs to be changed!
