A. Protein is a complex organic compound made up of amino-acids which are synthesised by living systems and their functions include building and maintaining body tissues, helping and creating enzymes, hormones and antibodies, and assisting in the transportation of fats, vitamins and minerals

B. Meat, poultry, fish, eggs, and dairy produces contain all eight IAAS (indispensable amino acids).

C. However, it is not normally a problem for vegans and vegetarians as although cereals, nuts and seeds tend to be high in the amino-acid 'methionine' but low in 'lysine' , pulses are rich in lysine but low in mehtionine. In this way, these two food groups complement each other very well and provide all eight of the IAAs. Soya is also an excellent source of protein.

D. The best plant source of protein is legumes, including lentils, kidney beans, chick peas, split peas, lima beans, mung beans, baked beans etc., and soy products such as tempeh. The highest source per 100 grams is cooked soy beans, with 13.5 grams of protein.

The God has given you canine teeth to eat non-veg also. Why are you trying to avoid the use of the gift of God ???

The vegitables also have life and grow like the animals do. You want to eat the vegitables just becoz they can not cry ??
Besides no other source can give you total protien as the non-veg.

It was also allowed in Vedas.

Your best bet for protein is Nuts, Beans, and Soy. Those are the main sources, but don't forget there's protein in some vegetables some quite a bit, like artichoke, potato skins, and avocado; and grains, like wild rice and oats.

definetly whey protein- it is plant based. But it is not something you can eat in its natural state- it typically comes in the form of a loose powder that you make a smoothie or something along the lines with. It has more protein than meats. Also try tofu and nuts.
