Our original parent sinned and bought into question Gods right to rule over his creation. We are living in a time of answering that accusation. Check Matthew 24:7 - 14 to see how near we are to the end that era. Email me for more info. 0plush@bluyonder.co.uk

The more I explore questions like this, the more I am convinced that man is simply the culmination of countless evolutionary trials and errors. It stands to reason that nature would eventually create a being that could not only survive but alter its environment.
Everything else that happens to us, such as the development of culture and society, is a way for all of us to make sense of our existence. What else would we do? We are forced to interact with each other.

As Lucy would say: answers are a quarter, good answers are fifty cents, and perfect answers are not to be had.
How about a list of answers.
1. Because our parents were living (and horny).
2. Because billions of years ago a molecule replicate itself in an environment in which replication could not be performed without 3 significant chance of error.
4. Freud - to think about having sex with your mother
5.Old School Guru - Only you can answer that question. I am sorry to inform you that you probably will never be fully satisfied with whatever that happens to be.
6. New Age Guru - To merge in a harmonious harmonic convergence of peace, love, joy, and many other warm fuzzy sounding nouns.
7. Nike - To just do it
8. High School Student - To just think about doing it.
9 Government - To just tax you for just doing it.
10. Professional philosopher - to prove that just thinking about doing it is equivalent to having done it.
11. Ethicist - to think about the implications of just doing it
12 Cognitive Philosopher. - To just think about how we think about doing it.
13. Surrealist - fish
14. Cheney - where is my gun.
ouch..carpel tunnel setting in...must..stop...typing...

You are living because:
-You are a child of God.
-Before you were born, you lived as a spirit with God, your Heavenly Father.
-You came to Earth to learn to be more like God.
-When your life on Earth is over, you can return to live with your Heavenly Father.
God, your Heavenly Father, has prepared a marvelous plan for your happiness. When you realize that God has a plan for you, it is easier to understand why you are on this earth. God wants all of His children to progress and become more like Him. This time on Earth provides opportunities for you to grow and progress. Coming here allows you to:
-Receive a physical body.
-Exercise agency and learn to choose between good and evil.
-Learn and gain experience that will help you become more like your Heavenly Father.
By following our Heavenly Father’s plan, you—like all of His children—can someday return to live with Him and with your loved ones. You can have greater peace in this life and eternal joy in the life to come.

We are earthseed. We have evolved the potential to escape this planet and spread our uniqueness through the galaxy. That is why we live -- to survive and progress the human species.

My question for you is, Are you sure you ARE LIVING? or are you merely running away and evading death? There is a difference between mere existence (being born, you have no choice in that) and choosing to LIVE. ponder on it. Are you living or simply existing? It is a choice.

Why do you assume there's a reason for living? Seems like there probably is none.
Knowing that, I'd kill myself, except I have a pretty good time here.
