I refuse to watch CSI Miami because he is on the show. I don't like his acting what so ever , I am a devoted fan to the original CSI and also CSI New York but can't not watch that one because of the one actor.

I agree. While I love the CSI series (all of them) sometimes I cannot stand to watch CSI Miami simply because Mr. Caruso annoys me. (I think even Chuck Norris did a better acting job in Walker, Texas Ranger, and that is some poor acting!)

Actually I love CSI Miami and I love David Caruso in that role.

i agree. When i 1st watched the show i was kinda shocked at how he acts...especially the way he speaks. Another reason the show is kids ridiculous is the Hummer. I dont think any law enforcement rides around the city in one of those.

I am a HUGHE fan of the original CSI. But i still watch Miami for the other guys Wolfe, Delko and sometimes Calleigh.

David caruso was a big hit in his detective role in the past but he never changed it, it gets old after awhile.
I cannot remember the role right now, frustrating, but he was good then.
he Quit the show, made a couple of movies and now he doesn't look as good because he is the same character in a lot of roles that do not fit that character.
Ok one of your answerers said it, it was N.Y.P.D. Blue.I do think that he fit that character, and I believe that he was a hit in that one, but as i said earlier, the same stuff gets old after awhile.

At least he can act, the guy on CSI new york is terrible. I quit watching it.

As for the last question, just look at shows like Oprah and soap operas ect and you'll know the answer.

Yes, yes, and yes. David Caruso has not impressed me, even in the NYPD glory days. He is stiff, uninteresting and as you said, "wooden." Good call.

Actually,David is rather "stiff". It almost seems like he has to read his lines. He was a better actor when he starred in NYPD Blue.
