acc to modern sys of TAXONOMY now living organisms are claasified into 5 and one of them is
KINDOM PROTISTA " THIS INCLUDES all acellular , Eukaryotic organisms which are no longer classified as animals , plants or fungi. e.g. EUGLENA

yes... protists are defined as unicellular eukaryotes that dont fit into animalia, plante, or fungus kingdom
