There is a picture of my son and I in the pool. I say in the caption, " Logan and I in the pool". Is this correct grammer? I was questioned on it. Please advise.

It is correct if you mean "Logan and I ARE in the pool."
Otherwise, I assume the meaning is "This is Logan and ME in the pool."

It's currently a fragment, which is not grammatically correct anyway. Besides, what rude person gives you flack for a caption on a picture?!? They should be complimenting you on the great job of capturing the moment, instead of picking at your grammar!

For a photo caption, it doesn't really matter, but "Logan and me in the pool" is more correct. Think about it this way:

"This is a picture of me in the pool." That would be fine, yes? So Logan climbs in, and you have:

"This is a picture of Logan and me in the pool." That's fine, too. When you shorten that sentence to make a caption, you have "Logan and me in the pool."

You should write "me" instead of "I." The trick is to do the sentence without the other name and see what works. In this case, "Logan and I in the pool" becomes "I in the pool." That doesn't sound right, so it should be "Me in the pool."

Therefore, the correct grammar is "Logan and me in the pool." of course, this is a fragment and not grammatically correct, but what the heck!

No, you would say (or write) "Logan and ME in the pool." Just take out the "Logan and" part to reason out what it should be.
Minus the Logan part, you wouldn't caption the picture "I in the pool," but "Me in the pool."

You would also write "grammar," not "grammer."

I think I would say 'Logan and myself in the pool' but your version is probably correct too, it just sounds a little strange for some reason.

I think I would have said "Logan and mom in the pool".

first of all, the word is grammar.
second of all, you say, "my son and me in the pool."
you can tell what is correct by taking the other person out of the sentence.
you would say, here is a picture of me in the pool.
you would not say, here is a picture of I in the pool.
having multiple subjects is what confuses you. but "me" is correct, which you can see when you take the other person out of the sentence.

If you say "a picture of me in the pool", or "a picture of myself", then adding another person doesn't change "me" or "myself" to "I". If it is right with just "I", then adding people also doesn't change "I" back to "me" or "myself". FYI, you're spelling "grammar" wrong.

Correct grammar. I hate all uppercase. It makes people sound ignorant. You spelled grammar wrong, by the way. =P
