The general gaming industry feels that 360 is going to stay the same price for quite a while. While it is true most companies expected the 360 to drop before E3 this year, when it came out that the PS3 was going to be 40% more expensive than the 360, well, why on earth would they chose to drop right now? Eventually there will be a drop, but likely not in the next year or so.

nicely, i'm a PS3 proprietor, so I actual have a bias, yet i think of it seems candy, and it is an progression over the unique. It comes with a nicer no longer trouble-free tension than the comparable $299 PS3, and this time around you actual get a on the spot card, so as that's superb. in spite of the undeniable fact that, the guaranty is actual 2 years shorter for it, and that kinda scares me, because of the fact it is nonetheless an xbox. besides, Natal - Kinect - will fail (no longer asserting psmove will do extra effective, in spite of the undeniable fact that it is extra low priced), so i does not even deliver that up, because of the fact expected cost is $a hundred and fifty, and buying a $3 hundred console just to spend that particularly extra is kinda wierd. i might purchase psmove, yet i do no longer think of so, because of the fact it is approximately $one hundred for each thing it is mandatory to apply it (inclusive of a sport). BTW, there do no longer look any hardcore video games released for Kinect, so i do no longer see it being nicely well worth the cost tag. besides, it seems candy, and if i became into going to %. between PS3 narrow and the hot xbox 360, i might actual have some hassle identifying. PSN PLUS THIS 300 and sixty 5 days!

Yes its true that their Ceo or who ever he is said that the 360's price would drop yearly but that claim has now been discreated and microsoft has pubically came out and said that "The Xbox 360 will not drop in price this year or any time soon" however because of their poor sales in Japan (From the 360's launch to now the GameCube! has out sold it two to one) they have decided to decrease the price by 50 dollars and bundle it with a game so you might want to try to get one from japan but with the shipping and all the other stuff that it would cost you might as well wait for a price drop here or get one NOW.

The Xbox 360 price will decrease yearly. I expect the price to drop around the time that the PS3 is launched so as to compete with it, but according to their ceo it will drop once a year.

They should come down in about a year or so. If PS3 comes out soon, they might come down quicker to boost sales and compete with PS3.
