I am somewhat skeptical of mail order rentals, but the free trial makes me want to give it a shot. I can always cancel I guess, but I wanted to see if anyone else had any experiences with this service.

Seems like a scam to me...

Believe it or not this service is exactly like those netflix or blockbuster online rental services. I have personally tried out all of them and found that this one had the better selection of games. I believe this is due to the fact that they deal in purely games. Another thing to note is that they are going to cover Wii and PS3 consoles and already stock some of the games for the consoles which is very cool.

With the plan I use it's $14.95 for 1 game at a time I can usually rent about 15-20 games a month if I only play them for a short time. Not having any late fees was pretty cool too so I could just keep the games as long as I want.

I'd say that http://freevideogamerentals.com is safe to use.

If you decide not to there are also:
http://www.blockbuster.com
and
http://www.gameznflix.com
and
http://www.intelliflix.com

However, they do movies as well and don't have as great a selection as freevideogamerentals.

Hope this helps.
