What would be: 'My room has two windows and the walls are lilac.' be in German?
I thought it would be something like: 'Mein Zimmer hat zwei Fenster und die Wande sind lila.' but I'm probably wrong..!

No you are correct. You could also use Raum, which means area.

Most all of those would work. The only question that I would have is have you looked up the plural for Das Fenster. Ich habe nicht mien Worterbuch.

Nope, your'e correct. I speak quite good german and that is the same answer that i would have come up with. You just need to remember that as in English sometimes there are several ways to say things in German.
