Does a track ball have any advantage over a mouse?

i can only speak 4 self
i've worked on trackballs 4 more than 8 yrs and am quite apt at handling it., but gaming , no way ... lol
besides, u know u'r skills best
try them all out & use one that suits u best !

I believe that a mouse is superior, trackballs get junk in them and gum up at all the wrong moments...Plus, the level of control with the mouse is much better

It takes some getting used to. I still prefer a mouse.

I have friends that swear by it, myself I could never get used to teh rythm of it. I need my regular old mouse
