I am about to send my form off and I do not want it returned but their (US Copyright Office) line is busy all day!

The US Copyright Office hasn't been helpful. Can you do as many as you want?

Is this the number you are calling {24-hours-per-day forms hotline) at (202) 707-9100? If it's busy all the time, you may want to try going online Here is a little info.

The registration of copyrights was assigned to the Library of Congress in 1897. Here is a site for Copyrighting : http://www.dejaygold.com/copyright.html

Most lyrics are registered single. But under certain requirements, you MAY be able to register them as a series, (not common, and may cause problems). Here is another site for that question: http://www.copyright.gov/register/serial.html According to that site, the number of series is unlimited.

I'm not familiar with the copywrite process, but you should be able to copywrite as many songs as you want. You might only be able to copywrite a certain number per form, I guess.
