Bare Escentuals is the company that sells the Bare Minerals mineral powder foundation. There are a lot of things better than this!

It's the same thing - confusing, I know. Buy a starter kit at Ulta - they run about $60 and have two foundations, a bronzer, blush & three brushes. This is a deal since the brushes alone run about $18-20 each. The eyeshadows are drop dead gorgeous & don't budge. They can be applied either wet or dry. Applied wet (foiled), the eyeshadow is wonderful for evening.

My guess is the difference is in the price. I don't like the products, they made my skin feel chalky and then oily by the end of the day. Now I go to Sephora for all my makeup needs and use all make up in moderation.
